s-bank.online Claims FCA Regulation — The FCA Says It Is Unauthorised
s-bank.online presents itself as an online business banking service and tells visitors that it is authorised and regulated by the UK’s Financial Conduct Authority. The FCA says otherwise.
On 23 September 2026, the Financial Conduct Authority published a warning about SBank Business Online Banking / s-bank.online. The regulator identifies the exact website, states that the firm is not authorised by the FCA and says it may be targeting people in the United Kingdom.
This creates a direct and serious contradiction. A visitor relying on the regulatory statement displayed by s-bank.online could believe they were dealing with an FCA-regulated financial business. The regulator responsible for granting that authorisation has specifically identified the website and says it is unauthorised.
The FCA advises consumers to avoid dealing with the firm and beware of scams. Based on that regulatory evidence and the conflicting authorisation claim displayed by the website, AssetVault Recovery considers s-bank.online a scam website that consumers and businesses should avoid.
No upfront recovery fees. Fees are payable only after a successful recovery.
The FCA Says SBank Business Online Banking Is Not Authorised
The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) published its warning concerning SBank Business Online Banking / s-bank.online on 23 September 2026.
The FCA identifies:
- Name: SBank Business Online Banking / s-bank.online
- Website: https://s-bank.online/
- Address: 10 Upper Bank St, Canary Wharf Estate, London, E14 5NP
- Mobile: +44 7424 956401
- Regulatory status: Not authorised by the FCA
The regulator says the firm may be providing or promoting financial services or products without permission and may be targeting people in the UK. Its advice is straightforward: consumers should avoid dealing with the firm and beware of scams.
There is also an important limitation in the FCA notice. The regulator expressly states that its warning solely relates to the website s-bank.online and does not relate to any other company or website.
AssetVault therefore does not extend this warning to unrelated organisations that happen to use similar names. This investigation concerns the exact domain identified by the FCA: s-bank.online.
That exact-domain approach is important whenever a financial operation uses familiar banking language or branding. Our CTI Capital / ctimarket.com investigation similarly demonstrates why investors should check the precise website and entity against official regulatory records rather than relying on a financial-sounding name.
The Website Says It Is FCA Regulated — That Claim Conflicts With the FCA Record
The most significant feature of this case is not simply that s-bank.online appears on an FCA warning page. It is what the website tells prospective customers about its own regulatory status.
The website has presented itself as “SBank Business banking” and advertised services associated with business accounts, payments, currency conversion and financing.
More importantly, s-bank.online states that it is “Authorised and regulated by the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).”
That claim is directly inconsistent with the FCA’s official warning.
The regulator responsible for authorising UK financial firms states that SBank Business Online Banking / s-bank.online is not authorised by the FCA.
This is not a minor discrepancy about an address or trading name. Regulatory authorisation is a factual status that consumers should be able to verify independently. If a financial website says it is FCA authorised while the FCA identifies that exact website as unauthorised, consumers should rely on the regulator’s official record rather than the website’s own representation.
The website also uses the same Canary Wharf address and telephone number appearing in the FCA warning and presents itself as registered in England and Wales, displaying company registration information. Those details do not override the FCA’s determination regarding authorisation.
A company registration and FCA authorisation are also different things. Registration of a corporate entity does not, by itself, give a business permission to conduct regulated financial activities.
This is why independent checks matter. As we have discussed in investigations such as Corpholding, corporate details and polished financial branding should never substitute for verification through the relevant regulator.
Customers Would Not Have Normal FCA-Related Protections
The unauthorised status also affects what may happen if a customer encounters a problem.
The FCA explains that people dealing with SBank Business Online Banking would not have access to the Financial Ombudsman Service for complaints against the firm.
They would also not have protection from the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) if the firm goes out of business and money is lost.
These protections should not be interpreted as guaranteeing that customers of authorised financial firms can never lose money. However, their absence is important because a visitor who believes the website’s claim that it is FCA regulated may also incorrectly assume that the normal UK regulatory safeguards apply.
The FCA’s warning makes clear that consumers should not make that assumption about s-bank.online.
AssetVault has repeatedly seen why authorisation needs to be checked before funds are transferred. The regulatory issues documented in our CryptoNova investigation provide another example of why a platform’s own claims should be compared with what the regulator actually records.
Be Cautious With the s-bank.online Android Application
Another feature deserves attention. s-bank.online provides an Android application for download directly from its website as an APK file.
The website’s download instructions indicate that Android users may need to allow installation from their browser or another source before installing the application.
AssetVault has not independently established that this APK contains malicious software, and we do not make that allegation.
However, given that the FCA has identified s-bank.online as an unauthorised operation and advised consumers to avoid dealing with it, users should exercise extreme caution before installing software distributed directly by the warned website.
If you have already installed an application supplied through s-bank.online, do not provide additional passwords, banking credentials, cryptocurrency wallet recovery phrases, one-time security codes or remote-access permissions merely because someone claiming to represent the service asks for them.
Anyone concerned about an application already installed on a device should also preserve relevant evidence before removing anything, including screenshots, download information, communications and any payment instructions received through the application.
Already Sent Money Through s-bank.online? Preserve the Evidence and Avoid Further Payments
If you have already transferred money after dealing with SBank Business Online Banking, preserve the actual transaction trail rather than relying solely on balances or statements displayed inside the website or application.
For bank transfers, retain:
- beneficiary names;
- account numbers or IBANs;
- receiving banks;
- SWIFT/BIC information;
- payment references;
- dates and amounts; and
- transfer confirmations.
If cryptocurrency was involved, preserve receiving wallet addresses, transaction hashes or TXIDs, blockchain networks, dates, amounts and records from the exchange or wallet used to send the assets.
Also save emails, telephone numbers, website screenshots, account statements, application screenshots, contracts and conversations through WhatsApp, Telegram or other messaging services.
Evidence concerning regulatory representations may be particularly important in this case. If you were shown material stating that s-bank.online was FCA authorised or regulated, preserve screenshots or copies of those statements.
If representatives subsequently demand another payment described as a tax, verification charge, AML fee, account activation payment, security deposit, compliance fee, insurance charge or release fee, do not automatically send additional money. Preserve the request and the bank account or cryptocurrency wallet provided for payment.
The FCA warning does not say that s-bank.online has made any specific type of withdrawal-fee demand, so AssetVault does not attribute such conduct to the website without evidence. The precaution applies generally once serious questions exist about the operation receiving the funds.
Consumers should also be cautious about unsolicited recovery approaches after a loss. As our Debt Resolution Federation investigation illustrates, anyone claiming to recover missing assets should be independently verified before further money or sensitive information is provided.
AssetVault Recovery Assessment
The central issue with s-bank.online is unusually straightforward.
The website tells visitors that it is authorised and regulated by the FCA. The FCA has published an official warning identifying the exact website and stating that SBank Business Online Banking is not authorised.
The regulator further says the firm may be targeting people in the UK and tells consumers to avoid dealing with it and beware of scams.
Based on this direct contradiction and the FCA’s warning concerning the exact domain, AssetVault Recovery considers s-bank.online a scam website and advises consumers and businesses not to send money through it.
The FCA has specifically limited its notice to s-bank.online. AssetVault therefore makes no allegation against unrelated businesses or websites that may have similar names.
For anyone who has already transferred funds, the priority should be preserving independently verifiable evidence: bank records, cryptocurrency wallet addresses, transaction hashes, payment instructions and communications. These records can establish where money actually moved regardless of what an online account later displays.
