bitkub55.co: Thai SEC Flags Unlicensed Digital Asset Business
bitkub55.co has been placed on the Thai Securities and Exchange Commission (Thai SEC) Investor Alert as an unlicensed digital asset business. The regulator’s Thai-language records provide an additional important detail: the website claims the name of Bitkub Online Co., Ltd.
The Thai SEC disclosed the warning on 30 September 2026. Its records also identify three closely named websites—bitkub55.com, bitkub55.net and bitkub55.org—with the same claimed company name and the same unlicensed digital asset business classification.
AssetVault Recovery considers bitkub55.co a scam website based on the regulator’s exact-domain alert and the site’s use of the Bitkub Online Co., Ltd. name. This assessment concerns bitkub55.co and the other domains specifically identified by the regulator; it should not be interpreted as an allegation against the genuine company whose name is being claimed.
No upfront recovery fees. Fees are payable only after a successful recovery.
Thai SEC Identifies bitkub55.co as Unlicensed
The Thai Securities and Exchange Commission (Thai SEC) identifies the exact website https://bitkub55.co and classifies the activity as an “Unlicensed digital asset business.”
The regulator’s public Investor Alert records show a disclosure date of 30 September 2026. No Facebook page, LINE account or physical address is provided for bitkub55.co in the alert.
More significantly, the Thai-language Thai SEC Investor Alert database states that bitkub55.co claims the name of Bitkub Online Co., Ltd.
The same Thai SEC records identify four related-looking domains disclosed on the same date:
- bitkub55.com
- bitkub55.co
- bitkub55.net
- bitkub55.org
Each is listed as an unlicensed digital asset business and recorded as claiming the Bitkub Online Co., Ltd. name.
This distinction matters. AssetVault’s warning is directed at the exact websites identified by the Thai SEC. Consumers should not assume that a website belongs to a recognised digital asset company simply because it uses a similar name, branding or references that company.
Regulator-listed websites using familiar financial or investment identities require particular caution. AssetVault has encountered comparable identity and authorisation concerns in investigations such as TheQuantaFlux and doronzo-ag.net.
If You Sent Cryptocurrency to bitkub55.co
Anyone who has already transferred cryptocurrency or other funds after dealing with bitkub55.co should preserve the transaction evidence immediately.
For cryptocurrency payments, retain:
- every transaction hash (TXID);
- the receiving wallet address;
- the sending wallet or exchange account;
- the cryptocurrency transferred;
- the blockchain network used;
- the date and amount of each transaction;
- exchange withdrawal confirmations;
- screenshots of any account or balance displayed by the website;
- deposit and withdrawal history;
- communications containing wallet addresses or payment instructions; and
- any messages concerning attempted withdrawals.
If money was sent through a bank, preserve the beneficiary name, account number, receiving bank, payment reference, transfer receipt and corresponding statement.
The objective is to reconstruct the actual movement of money rather than rely on figures displayed by the website. A balance shown inside an online account is not the same thing as independently verifiable possession of cryptocurrency or money.
Blockchain transactions can provide particularly useful evidence because a TXID can independently establish that a transaction occurred, identify the destination address and provide a starting point for examining subsequent movements. Similar transaction-preservation principles are discussed in AssetVault’s Delio investigation.
Do Not Send More Money to Unlock a Balance
If bitkub55.co or someone associated with the website is preventing a withdrawal while requesting another payment, preserve the request before sending anything further.
The Thai SEC alert establishes that bitkub55.co is an unlicensed digital asset business. It does not document particular withdrawal fees or payment demands, so AssetVault does not attribute specific demands to the website without evidence from an individual case.
However, if you are being asked for additional cryptocurrency or money described as a tax, withdrawal fee, account verification charge, wallet activation payment, AML requirement, blockchain fee, insurance payment or release charge, do not assume another transfer will make the displayed balance available.
Preserve the message and the destination supplied for payment. If cryptocurrency is requested, retain the wallet address and network. If a bank transfer is requested, retain the complete beneficiary information.
Be equally cautious if another organisation subsequently claims that money lost through bitkub55.co has already been recovered and can be released after another payment. AssetVault has examined this secondary-payment risk in its Debt Resolution Federation investigation.
AssetVault Recovery Assessment
The evidence in this case does not require speculation about website design or lengthy analysis of domain history.
The Thai Securities and Exchange Commission (Thai SEC) has identified bitkub55.co as an unlicensed digital asset business. The regulator’s Thai-language Investor Alert database further records that the website claims the name of Bitkub Online Co., Ltd.
The Thai SEC simultaneously identifies bitkub55.com, bitkub55.net and bitkub55.org with the same claimed company name and unlicensed digital asset classification.
AssetVault Recovery therefore considers bitkub55.co a scam website and advises consumers not to send it additional money.
This assessment applies to the regulator-listed website. It is not an allegation against the genuine Bitkub Online Co., Ltd. or an assertion that the genuine company operates bitkub55.co.
If money has already been transferred, the priority is the real transaction trail: TXIDs, wallet addresses, blockchain networks, exchange records, bank beneficiary information, payment instructions and communications surrounding deposits and attempted withdrawals.
