Cover Your Bubble (coveryourbubble.uk): The FCA Warning and a Phone Number That Leads to Another Flagged Firm
Do not send money or provide further financial information to Cover Your Bubble through coveryourbubble.uk without first independently verifying who you are dealing with.
On 21 August 2026, the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) issued an official warning against Cover Your Bubble Limited, identifying the exact website coveryourbubble.uk. The regulator says the firm is not authorised, may be targeting people in the UK, and tells consumers to avoid dealing with it and beware of scams.
But there is another detail that makes this warning particularly important.
The telephone number published in the Cover Your Bubble warning — 0800 029 1894 — also appears in a separate Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) warning against Surecover Group Ltd. Both warnings were published on the same day.
AssetVault Recovery has already documented the Surecover case. The shared telephone number does not, by itself, prove common ownership or control. It does, however, create a direct contact-detail overlap between two separate unauthorised firms identified by the same regulator on 21 August 2026.
AssetVault Recovery’s finding: coveryourbubble.uk carries serious scam-risk indicators and should not be trusted simply because the business name, website or telephone contact appears professional. The exact domain is attached to an official unauthorised-firm warning, and the telephone number associated with it also appears in another regulatory warning. We advise consumers not to make new payments to Cover Your Bubble Limited.
What the FCA Says About coveryourbubble.uk
The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) identifies the operation using three clear pieces of information:
- Name: Cover Your Bubble Limited
- Website: coveryourbubble.uk
- Telephone: 0800 029 1894
The warning was first published and last updated on 21 August 2026.
According to the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), Cover Your Bubble Limited may be providing or promoting financial services or products without permission. The regulator confirms that the firm is not authorised and may be targeting people in the United Kingdom.
This is not simply an administrative footnote. The regulator specifically tells consumers to avoid dealing with the firm and beware of scams.
AssetVault has seen the same problem in other cases where a convincing company identity existed without the required regulatory permission. Our investigations into Coinlinkinv.cc and CTI Capital show why the exact website and regulatory status matter more than how established a business may appear.
The Most Important Clue Is 0800 029 1894
The strongest investigative lead in this case is not buried somewhere in the website. It is sitting directly inside the regulatory warning.
The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) lists 0800 029 1894 as the telephone number for Cover Your Bubble Limited.
That exact number also appears in the regulator’s separate warning against Surecover Group Ltd, associated with surecovergroup.co.uk.
AssetVault documented that warning in our Surecover Group investigation.
The overlap is unusually specific:
- Cover Your Bubble Limited — coveryourbubble.uk — 0800 029 1894
- Surecover Group Ltd — surecovergroup.co.uk — 0800 029 1894
- Both identified as unauthorised firms
- Both warnings published on 21 August 2026
AssetVault is not claiming from the telephone number alone that both websites are operated by the same people. Telephone services can be shared, reassigned or supplied through third parties.
But anyone contacted using 0800 029 1894 should preserve the call record and make a note of which company name was used during the conversation.
If the same caller presented different business identities at different stages, that evidence could become particularly important.
Why the FCA Warns About Borrowed or Incorrect Contact Details
There is another reason the telephone overlap should not be ignored.
In its Cover Your Bubble notice, the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) specifically warns that unauthorised firms may provide incorrect addresses, telephone numbers or email addresses.
The regulator also warns that some operations may use details belonging to another business or individual in order to appear genuine.
That means consumers should not verify Cover Your Bubble merely by searching the company name or recognising a UK telephone number.
The exact domain matters. The exact telephone number matters. Most importantly, the regulatory status matters.
This same identity-verification problem has appeared in other AssetVault investigations, including FinnsMotion and Asset Avenue Advisors LLC. A professional-looking identity does not establish that the people behind a website have permission to provide the financial service being offered.
What Protection Do You Have If Something Goes Wrong?
The consequences of dealing with an unauthorised financial firm become most important after money has already been transferred.
The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) states that consumers dealing with Cover Your Bubble Limited would not have access to the Financial Ombudsman Service if they needed to complain.
Consumers would also not receive the normal protection of the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) if the firm failed.
The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) additionally notes that certain people who were tricked into sending money to a fraudster on or after 7 October 2024 may qualify for protections introduced by the Payment Systems Regulator (PSR), depending on the circumstances of the payment.
This is why acting quickly after a suspicious bank transfer can matter. AssetVault’s investigation into Franklin National Reserve similarly examined why the real payment trail can become more important than the identity presented to the victim.
Already Paid Cover Your Bubble? Preserve the Evidence
If you have already paid Cover Your Bubble Limited, do not delete emails, text messages or call records simply because you now suspect something is wrong.
Preserve:
- bank or card transaction records;
- the beneficiary name and account details;
- invoices, policies or agreements you received;
- emails and text messages;
- screenshots of coveryourbubble.uk;
- telephone call history involving 0800 029 1894;
- the name used by the person who contacted you; and
- any request for an additional payment.
If you paid by bank transfer or card and now believe the transaction resulted from fraud, contact your bank or card provider promptly. Explain what happened and provide the official regulatory warning where relevant.
Do not send another payment simply because someone says it is required to process a refund, release compensation, cancel an agreement or recover the original money.
AssetVault’s Assessment of Cover Your Bubble
The available evidence gives consumers strong reasons not to proceed with coveryourbubble.uk.
The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) identifies the exact website, confirms Cover Your Bubble Limited is unauthorised and tells consumers to avoid the firm and beware of scams.
More unusually, the telephone number attached to Cover Your Bubble also appears in a second warning involving Surecover Group Ltd, issued by the same regulator on the same date.
AssetVault Recovery considers coveryourbubble.uk unsafe to deal with. The regulatory warning and documented contact-detail overlap create serious scam-risk concerns. Consumers should not send new money or provide additional financial information to Cover Your Bubble Limited unless the identity and regulatory authority of the business can be independently established.
This is AssetVault Recovery’s assessment of the available evidence. It should not be represented as a criminal judgment made by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).

Disclaimer
This investigation is based primarily on the official warning published by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and publicly available information reviewed by AssetVault Recovery.
The documented telephone-number overlap between Cover Your Bubble Limited and Surecover Group Ltd does not, by itself, establish common ownership, management or control. AssetVault has included it because the same telephone number appears in two separate regulatory warnings published on the same date.
References to the Financial Ombudsman Service, Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) and Payment Systems Regulator (PSR) concern consumer-protection information and do not mean those organisations have independently issued warnings against Cover Your Bubble Limited.
AssetVault Recovery’s risk assessment is an independent conclusion based on the evidence reviewed and is not a judicial determination of criminal liability.
